Hope for Children Center Orphanage Hope for Children Center orphanage near Oyugis Kenya was begun in 2002 from the ashes of OBREC. (You can read about this transition on our History page) After moving the orphans into three different rental properties, this new facility was built in late 2004 and 2005. There are now more than 250 orphans housed at this orphanage. They still need a secondary school and, eventually, a church at the orphanage.
