Janet A. is a sixteen-year-old girl in Form 1. Her parents both died in the same month of 2003, with only a day's difference. What a blow that must have been to poor Janet! Some of her father's friends had promised to educate her, but she was only able to complete the first term before they decided they wanted her to go for marriage instead. She was briefly taken to Hope Center when Migori Center was closed down by the government, and then she was taken to Good Samaritan Home where she is today.
