Mildren A. is 8 years old.  Her father died of HIV/AIDS in 1999, and her mother followed in death in 2002, leaving Mildred with no one to care for her.  She was taken to the Migori Orphanage at the age of four.  When it was closed down by the Kenyan Government early this year, Mildred and thirty other children were dropped off at Hope Center.  Since we were already over capacity there, the decision was made for Mother Teresa to take care of the children at her home, with our financial assistance, at our new Orphanage which is Good Samaritan Lwanda Children's home.  Mildred is a polite and happy girl, good in academics and eager to get her education.   She has suffered the loss of her parents and faced tremendous upsets in her short life.  Now she is happy and well cared for.  All that is lacking is the support of a sponsor.  Perhaps Mildred could be part of your family?
