Orphans that need sponsors Below are pictured some of the orphans who need to be
sponsored. (The highlighted names, fortunately, already have sponsors.) The cost
is only thirty dollars a month to
sponsor an orphan. Sponsorship helps cover the
cost of food, clothes, a place to sleep, and an education for an orphan for a
month. If you would like to sponsor a child write us at

The following story was in Spotlight on Orphans Extra*. “One day after a bad storm a man went down to the beach by the ocean. As he was walking along the beach he noticed a little figure down by the water. As he got closer he saw that a little girl was picking up starfish and throwing them back in the water. Now, there were thousands of starfish on the beach and the man laughed at the girl. He said, ‘You don’t think that you can make a difference among all these starfish.’ The little girl just ignored him, bent over and picked up a starfish and threw it back into the sea. Then she turned to the man and said, ‘I made a difference to that one.’” Certainly that is all we can do. Make a difference in a few lives. Choosing to
sponsor an orphan will make a big
difference in that orphan's life. Sponsorship enables an orphan to come in off
of the streets and receive food, clothes, a place to sleep, and an education.
