Eleven athletes from Maranatha participated in Rotary Charities national Cancer Run to raise money to build a Cancer Center in Uganda.  This is one of the ways these children are giving back to their community


Derick Nabulumbi, a former resident of Maranatha, opened St Viane's Health Clinic after he completed nursing school. The Clinic is located in one of the poorest and most underserved neighborhoods in Masaka.  No one is turned away for lack of funds.  This is Derick's way of giving back to his community.


Four Board members were very excited to see the new well and the pre-primary and primary schools operating during their recent visit. The schools serve 200 children including 46 from the community.


Hope Center has expanded its agricultural activities.  There are 2 cows and some chickens in residence in addition to a field of maize and a garden with a variety of vegetables. Each of these is used to supplement the diet of the children.

There are many ways you can make a difference in the lives of these children.

Sponsor a child for only $40/month. You can make sure this child has a place to live, food, nurturing environment, and an education. What is involved in sponsoring a child?

Sponsor a student in vocational school or college.

Donate toward a project. Review the list of projects that will benefit these children, select the project you would like to support, and make a donation. You can follow the progress of these projects on our web site.
